What is NewLaw?

As the practice of law continues to evolve and modernize, Jordan Furlong, an industry analyst and consultant, takes notes and wonders, “What is NewLaw?” Here’s what he came up with.

Any model, process, or tool that represents a significantly different approach to the creation or provision of legal services than what the legal profession traditionally has employed.

With this definition as a starting point, Furlong started cataloging law firms, legal tools and support services that could be labeled as NewLaw. Check out his list on Law21.
